Step 1: Trim
Prior to each lighting, trim the wick to 1’4”. Keep it trimmed and centered throughout the entire burning process to enjoy a virtually clean and smoke free burn.
Step 2: Position
Place the candle in a well-ventilated area, but away from drafts. Drafts interrupt the *combustion* process, which can potentially lead to unpleasant smoke and soot. Aim for a steady flame!
Step 3: Center
Burn at least 3 hours each time the candle is lit, no longer than 4 hours at any one time.
By following the recommended burn times, the candle will reach a full melt pool by the 2nd or 3rd time it’s burned. Ultimately, all the wax will be consumed, except ½” at the bottom of the vessel that must remain for safety reasons.
By following these tips, your candles will grace your home with their warm glow for longer, creating an inviting atmosphere that will delight you.
